The heart-rate reading will not start
- Cover BOTH the camera lens and the flash with the same fingertip. Covering only the lens is the most common reason nothing happens.
- Press gently. Pressing hard squeezes the blood out of your fingertip, and it is blood movement the camera is looking for.
- Rest your hand on a table and hold still until the ring closes.
- Warm hands read better than cold ones.
The heart-rate number looks wrong
Hold still, press gently, and take it again. This is a wellness feature, not a medical device, and it is less reliable when your finger moves or presses too hard. If a reading looks far off, it usually is — take another.
What the app measures, and what it does not
The app measures HEART RATE only, using your phone camera and flash, for general fitness and wellness. Blood pressure, blood sugar and blood oxygen are values YOU enter from your own monitor — the app cannot measure them, and no phone can.

Subscriptions
Manage or cancel a subscription in the Settings app on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — reportaproblem.apple.com.
