Acceptance

By downloading or using Blood Pressure App | BP Record you agree to these terms, which form a binding agreement between you and the developer. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 and of the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s consent.

Not a medical device

This is the most important term in this document. The app is a wellness and educational tool only.

  • It does not measure blood pressure, blood sugar, or blood oxygen — you enter those values yourself. The camera heart-rate feature and the scores from a recording are wellness estimates, not clinical measurements.
  • It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in it is medical advice.
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional, and never disregard or delay their advice because of something shown in this app.
  • In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. The app cannot summon help.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the readings you enter and for any decision you make from your own data.
  • Your data lives only on your device, so keeping backups — for example by exporting — is your responsibility. We cannot recover it if your device is lost or reset.
  • You agree not to misuse the app, reverse-engineer it, or use it unlawfully.

Licence

You have a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. The app, its content and its design remain the developer’s property, and no rights are granted beyond those set out here.

Free and Pro features

  • Free: blood pressure and heart rate, including live camera heart-rate measurement.
  • Pro: blood sugar, blood oxygen, HRV, and the scores derived from a recording — Stress, Energy, SDNN, RMSSD, PNN50 and COV.
  • A free reader records at full accuracy; Pro is what reveals the extra scores that recording produces. Which features sit in each tier may change as the app develops.

Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

  • Pro renews automatically, billed weekly or yearly. The price is shown before you buy and charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
  • Renewal is charged within 24 hours of the period ending unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before it does.
  • Cancel in Settings under your Apple ID; deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays active for the rest of the paid period. Restore in the paywall re-activates Pro on a device.
  • Apple handles refunds under the App Store terms — we cannot issue them. Statutory withdrawal rights, such as those for EU and UK consumers, are unaffected.

Apple’s role

  • This agreement is between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.
  • If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory, or intellectual property claims.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Disclaimers and liability

  • The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reading, score or estimate it shows is accurate.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it arose.
  • Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions disallow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and your statutory consumer rights stand.

Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
  • If you are a consumer, nothing here removes the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country or state of residence, or your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
  • Please contact us before starting formal proceedings — most questions are resolved informally. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

Changes and general terms

  • These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Features may be added, changed, or removed.
  • You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may end your licence if you materially breach these terms. The disclaimer, liability and governing-law sections survive.
  • If any provision is unenforceable the rest stands, and a failure to enforce one is not a waiver of it.
  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app.

Governing language

These terms are written in English and translated for your convenience. If a translation differs from the English text, the English version is the one that applies.
